Our goal is to provide a safe, secure and loving environment where parents feel comfortable leaving their children.

To prevent abuse risk in our ministry we have taken steps to protect both our children and workers by adopting "The Guardian System."

Connect Screen. All staff and volunteers are screened. We use application forms, in-person interviews, reference checks and criminal background checks.
Connect Train. Through training and education all staff and volunteers are made aware of our safety and security policy.
Connect Operate. We have operational policies in place for each department. For example, all children must be signed in and signed out by an adult parent or guardian.
Connect Plan. Should the unthinkable happen, we have a response plan to deal quickly and effectively with the situation.

Nursery Secruity
When you drop your child off at our nurseries you will be given a pager and a numbered tag. Sign in your child on the attendance sheet, noting any special instructions, your exact location in church and your pager number. Should we need to reach you, we will page you. If we are unable to page you, we will light up your tag number on the Worship Center screens or come to you in your classroom. This is also a security measure, as we require that the pager and tag be exchanged for your child when he/she is picked up. Please only send an adult from your family to pick up the child.

Our nurseries operate on a "well baby" policy. Please do not bring your child if any of these symptoms are present: fever, cough, diarrhea, impetigo, questionable rashes, active chicken pox, conjunctivitis (pink eye), measles, nasal drainage that is not clear, or being treated with antibiotics for less than 24 hours.

Please label all bottles, pacifiers and diapers with your child's name. When bringing your child to the nursery, use the small diaper bag provided by the church

Early Childhood Security
We require all children to be signed in and signed out on the attendance sheet outside their rooms.Your child receives a nametag with your picture on it and you receive a black family number tag which you should take with you. Should we need to reach you, the number will appear near the bottom of the screens in the main Worship Center. Your child's nametag with your picture and the black numbered tag are both part of our security system for picking up your child. You should show the black tag to your child's teacher when picking up your child. Please send only an adult from your family to pick up the child.
