New Hope Prision Ministry Hope for prisioners and their families

"Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners,
and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering."
Hebrews 13:3

As a part of our call to compassionate service, New Hope Church has a family of volunteers that minister to those in our local jails and correctional facilities. The Lord has also called us to minister to the families within our community that have loved ones who are incarcerated. This ministry has made a tremendous impact in the lives of many prisoners and their families.

NHC's Prison Ministry uses the expertise and networks of major Christian prison ministries such as Missionary Evangelism to Corrections (MEC) and Good News Jail Ministry to gain entrance into the local correctional facilities. Our team coordinates with the directors of these organizations to allow our volunteers to have constant and continuous presence in the correctional facilities we minister to, as well as the families impacted.

New Hope Church also partners with Prison Fellowship each Christmas to reach out to the children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ through the Angel Tree program.

Our Mission

To give new hope to prisoners and their families by offering the good news of Jesus Christ and building strong relationships.

Our Vision

To positively impact the lives, both now and for eternity, of those affected by incarceration by bringing them into the Body of Christ and walking with those already in the Body of Christ.
