"To each is given the manifestation of
the Spirit for the common good." 1 Corinthians 12:7

The blessings that come as you grow in your relationship with Christ are meant to be shared. These gifts are given to empower the Church and its individuals to (through the power of the Holy Spirit) reach out to others. (See Ephesians 4 and 1 Corinthians 12.) As you live out the gifts and skills the Lord has given you, you are better able to become more of who He created you to be. And, you can help others to do the same. You may also discover some new friends in the process!

Following are great opportunities to use your time, gifts and talents to serve the Lord and the Body of Christ. Don't forget to share the story of what God is doing in your life as you serve others!

Service Devotional

"God’s Power Reflected in Our Service"
Does the word “service” scare you a bit? Maybe it strikes fear in you that someone (maybe even God) will ask you to do something you have no desire to do. The truth is that God’s plan for our service is about something beyond keeping us busy or obedient. View and print study.

"But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together." 1 Corinthians 12:24-26
