God has given the NHC family a great gift with the Friendship House. This home provides a clean, safe and affordable temporary living environment for missionaries who are on furlough. Most of those who reside at the home are actively serving and being supported by New Hope Church. Serving on the mission field can be extremely challenging. When missionaries have an opportunity to take a leave, they often use the time at home to raise funds, meet with supporters, catch up with family, gather resources not availble on the field, and try their best to re-energize for their return to the field. We want to help make that time as effective as possible. Not having to worry about a place to stay and paying for rent can take a considerable load off a missionary's mind.
