Faith Journey
His or her relationship with the Lord must
be a priority to effectively do the work to which God calls them. Pray for increasing
depth in that relationship.
Financial Support
With
the value of the U.S. dollar consistently falling, financial
worries can be a constant drain on a missionary's emotional health. In addition,
transferring funds can be a complicated procedure that requires a great deal
of time. Pray for wisdom and provision of resources.
Family Life
Creating a positive family environment in
a foreign culture can be challenging with added concerns of
schooling and social interaction. Pray for family unity and positive
experiences for children.
Global Region
Adjusting to a different
culture and learning a foreign language can be difficult and take considerable
time away from ministry. Pray for good personal relationships and experiences
that help in overcoming any culture and language barriers.
Spiritual Attacks
The enemy can use emotional and physical
challenges to discourage those on the field. This can impede ministry progress
and cause discouragement. Pray for victory and God's strong presence in the
midst of the battle.
Praise Reports
Look for ways to rejoice with missionaries as they communicate success
stories from the field. Pray for God to be greatly glorified in everything
he accomplishes through the hands of his servants.
