The Robbins family made the most of their summer last year by going on an adventure. This NHC family of five went to Poland to help at a week-long English camp through a partnering Evangelical Free Church. While there, Brent and Kristin saw their three young daughters share their faith and grow in their understanding of other cultures. And the family grew together spiritually as they served others.robbins family photo

Brent and Kristin have since seen their children grow in practical ways, from increased confidence in sharing their faith to recognizing ministry opportunities among their neighbors and classmates. Last year’s trip helped their daughters understand that global ministries is important and everyone has a role in sharing the Gospel. It was a trip they’ll never forget!

Like many people, the Robbins did have fears about going on a short-term trip, but they had no doubts that they were called to serve and love people. “It’s ok to be scared,” said Kristin. Her suggestion is to keep praying. “If God is prompting you to consider a ministry trip, be open and start to explore. He will put the pieces together. Absolutely, go!”
