There
are numerous hands-on ways to serve God in what he is doing through Global
Ministries. Be creative, get to know global workers and consider some of
the ideas below! Contact Global

information on how to get involved.
Administrative Support
- Volunteer your administrative skills and abilities with the NHC
Global Ministries office.
- Produce global worker prayer calendars
- Produce promotional and educational materials
Communications
- Compile and share information about global workers to groups in our church
congregation.
- Take photos and write articles about global workers and short-term projects.
- Assist in maintaining information on the NHC Global Ministries area of
the NHC website.
- Help promote NHC Global Ministries opportunties to your own circle of
influence.
- Pass along any special or immediate prayer requests to the NHC Global Ministries
office.
Hospitality
- Organize and attend 'home-based team' meetings for global workers
- Provide housing and transportation for global workers on furlough
- Serve the NHC Friendship House.
Care
- Ask how you can specifically pray for
them.
- Consistently write letters or emails plus send gifts and cards
during birthdays and holidays.
- Give recommendations on local servies such as medical, dental, auto repair
and economical places to shop.
- Be available to ask questions about their work. Listen to stories from
the field.
- Offer rides and a send-off from the airport.
- Organize an open house or informal prayer "commissioning"
just before they leave for the field.
- Surprise them with an occassional phone call.
- Send information about what is happening back home and with the New Hope
Church family.
- Help to take care of their home while they are away.
- Be at the airport when they return.
Global Ministries Development
- Serve as 'Area Champion' for one of our strategic regions (East Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Middle East/North Africa)
- Lead or participate in the design and deployment of new education, communication and/or mobilization initiatives.
