Short-term mission (STM) trips play an important role in New Hope Church global outreach because they engage us all around God's global purposes. An STM is an opportunity for the entire church to be involved - as team members, those who pray for the teams and those who give financial support. Because of the important impact of these trips, we look for team participants who demonstrate a vital Christian faith, a servant's heart, a team mindset and flexibility. Striving for excellence in every aspect of the trips is important, from the preparation process, to encouraging our in-country hosts, to serving those in the local community, to being a representative of Christ as we travel. We are then amazed to see all these cross-cultural experiences used by God to help participants hear his leading in their lives. Short-term Trips
