The Primary Emergency Response Team (PERT) helps to provide a safe environment for the NHC congregation by being available to give direction and assess individuals in need of emergency medical attention during Sunday Worship Celebrations and special events. You may identify PERT volunteers by their photo identification badge.

PERT volunteers work closely with our usher’s team. To maintain knowledge on policies and procedures, they participate together in emergency drills. If you're interested in more information about involvement in PERT, contact Care Ministries at 763-971-5123. The qualifications for volunteers in this capacity are:

• trained in CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• trained in Automatic External Defibrillation (AED)
• trained in first aid
• possess good communication skills
• trustworthy and able to maintain confidences
• able to serve at least one Sunday monthly during a Worship Celebration
• available to occasionally serve at special events
• being a regular attender at New Hope Church

Ron Jones, our PERT Coordinator, provides oversight, structure and direction for the NHC PERT volunteers. He coordinates team drills and collaborates with our ushers team to provide thorough and safe emergency responses.

We are blessed to have this group of people who are committed to ministering to those experiencing health concerns. Let them know how much you appreciate their ministry!
