Focused on FitnessFocused on Fitness is a Focus Group that encourages the Body of Christ to develop healthy lifestyle patterns of exercise and nutrition. Together with First Place 4 Health, learn to maintain success in areas of balanced eating and physical fitness. Many people desire optimum health and fitness,but are not sure where to start and cannot afford a gym membership. Focused on Fitness provides a weekly exercise class of strength training and flexibility exercises, accountability, community and one-on-one coaching. Get the expertise of a professional without the cost of an expensive membership or typical personal trainer dues. Focused on Fitness is taught by a certified fitness instructor with experience in various levels of fitness ability. Because of this unique aspect, Focused on Fitness offers three different levels of workout classes on Thursdays, starting September 17, 2009.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED HEALTH NOTE: Before starting any fitness or weight-management program, you should consult your physician and disclose any preexisting medical history which might affect your participation in the program, including but not limited to heart disease, high blood pressure, anorexia/bulimia, diabetes or hypoglycemia.
