Learn more about Holly>> Jobs for Life Imagine two individuals applying for a job. The first has struggled with finding and keeping employment, they think their past failures guarantee future ones and they wonder if what they do even matters. Now imagine someone who has learned that they have value, that God has a purpose for their life and they have someone walking alongside them on the journey. Which individual do you think will be more successful at finding and maintaining employment? Which individual is going to be inspired to succeed and invest in others because they have hope and a future? Everyone knows the adage, “Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he’ll eat for life.” How much more effective would that man be if he understood why he should fish in the first place? The mission at HopeBridge is to serve in ways that make a difference today and offer hope for tomorrow. This spring, we are excited to launch “Jobs for Life,” a ministry to help individuals build lives, one job at a time. While attending an eight-week training session, students will learn biblical principals to prepare them for success at work and in life. Through “Jobs for Life,” students not only learn life-changing lessons, they will be prayed for and encouraged by the teachers and mentors. These volunteers know without a doubt that God has a hope and a future for each student. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, Where is HopeBridge? |
