No agenda. Just guys and meat. Marshall Posey is a member of the NHC elder council and an all-around good dude who's opening his home to us to get some time together, grab some grub, and maybe get some bocce ball in. This is a great chance to meet other NHC guys and find out more about EquipMENt ministries at New Hope. Please RSVP to EquipMENt to reserve your spot. We'll each chip in a few bucks for the food.

 

2010 Fall Retreat: Pastoring Your Home

After an amazing, Spirit-driven 2009 men's retreat, we couldn't be more excited to get away with you again this fall. The topic of "Pastoring Your Home" will make a relevant theme for guys who are single, who are married with kids and whose kids are out of the house. One of the great blessings of being a part of NHC is that we already have the best speaker on this topic that I can think of in house! Pastor Greg Braly will address us three times over the weekend.  

As always, there will be plenty of time for both work and play – engaging with the Lord and getting out with the guys. And I promise that this year we will have snoring and non-snoring cabins! Set that weekend aside and register online before September 1 for the best rates. Looking forward to spending the weekend with you, guys. - Pastor Bryan

UPDATE 2: GOLF! Several men will be hitting the links at Wolf Ridge Golf Course in Eau Claire on the way to the retreat. We played Wild Ridge last year, and it was fantastic for price and appeal. It is nearly halfway to Westboro and Camp Forest Springs from Golden Valley. Golfers can tee off at 11:50 am, noon, 12:10 pm, 12:20 pm. Contact Joe Komarek for a group and a tee time.
