Elevate's purpose is based on Philippians 4:8-9 and Matthew 28:18-20. We desire to "elevate" EDGE student participation in the purpose of Student Ministries at New Hope Church. Elevate provides community building, evangelism training and opportunities to put that training into action. We begin Friday, September 30 at 7:00 p.m. Check out the current schedule for up-to-date information. Second Fridays • 7:00 p.m.The second Friday of each month is geared for EDGE students to have opportunities to connect and form a Christian student community and be trained in evangelism. We provide various opportunities for students to be trained in Cadre's material, "Evangelism is Relationships." This material leads students to focus on interceding, investing, intersecting and inviting friends who don't have a faith in Jesus. Fourth Fridays • 7:00 p.m.The fourth Friday of each month is designed for EDGE students to put their training into action and invite non-believing students to experirence the Christian community of EDGE students. Our fourth Fridays are "themed nights" and include games, bands, talent nights, special activities and, most of all, the gospel. The Tin Roof Eatery is open on these Friday nights for light snacks. All events are free of charge unless they involve an off-campus activity.
