What do you share with others?
The gospel? Your life?
NHC Women's Ministries is committed to proclaiming the gospel through word and deed. Christians need to hear the gospel repeatedly lest we fall into more sin or take Jesus’ death on our behalf for granted. Heaven forbid that we think we should move beyond the simple truth of Jesus’ death in our place.

If we love people, whether they are Christian or pre-Christian, we will share the gospel with them. The best news that any of us could ever hear is that God loved us so much that He sent Jesus to take the punishment we deserve for messing up and sinning so that we could be his children. What more could he have done to prove his love to us?

And with a love like that, shouldn’t it bubble out of our lives? When we are really in a loving relationship, we talk about it. We share our story and experiences with others.

“We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our lives as well because you had become so dear to us” 1 Thessalonians 2:8

Community Crafters

Saturday, February 27
Saturday, March 27

3:00-9:30 p.m.
(Come and go as you'd like.)

Community Crafters in an informal gathering of women who come together to work on various projects or hobbies that they enjoy. This low-key setting at HopeBridge gives women the opportunity to connect with other women.

Munch on some snacks. Talk to some women. Make progress on your current project or start a new one. Meet a new friend or bring one of your own. It's a good day!

If you have friends who like crafts but who don't yet know Jesus, consider inviting them to come with you. Quality time is a great way to invest in relationships, and as you pray for opportunities for God to work in and through you, you might be surprised how naturally it may happen.

Cost: $3 for the day and $5 extra for a pizza dinner. Please don't let cost be an obstacle that keeps you away.

Register online in advance or call Holly Nimchuk at 763-533-5887. You may pay at the door.

Intercultural Cooking Lessons

Love to cook? Want to love to cook? Love to eat ethnic food?

Vegetarian Intercultural Cooking Lesson
Saturday, January 30 10:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. in the Cafe

The church and community are joining together at the main campus kitchen woman cooks for this outreach ministry as we learn to cook better together. We are taught by women from within our congregation who have a passion for cooking and love to love people in Jesus’ name. The cooking lessons include helping to prepare a meal together.

Come increase your cooking skills and techniques, and cultural awareness. As the food cooks, you'll learn helpful information about nutrition as well enjoy a devotional thought that gives believers and non-believers alike something to “chew” on. As we eat the meal we prepare, we’ll have quality time to get to know one another more. Build relationships. Gain some skills. Bring a friend who doesn’t know Jesus!

Cost for the most lessons: $5.
RSVP
for yourself and your guests in advance.

If you would be interested in helping lead a cultural cooking or baking lesson, please contact Andrea Tyson.
