MISSIONAL

LIVING SENT on Mission with God
presented by Pastor Bryan McWhite
Living sent begins with who God is. God is a missional God, and he was from the beginning. The most important decision we will ever make is whether we will join God in the missio Dei--the mission of God, or whether we will pursue the missio meo--the mission of me. Will I join God in his pursuits, or will I merely ask God to get on board with my pursuits?

APOSTOLIC

LIVING SENT as Everyday Apostles
presented by Pastor Bryan McWhite

Every believer is called to an apostolic life. If you are in Christ, you are a "sent one." In this message we will look to Paul as our apostolic prototype and dive deeply into 2 Corinthians 5:6-21 to see what it means to live as an "everyday apostle."

INFILTRATE

LIVING SENT in the City
presented by Pastor Jeremy Deck
The polis in central in God's plan. Cities are important because they are the center of cultural formation: Business, music, art, politics and commerce happen in the city, so reaching and transforming the city with the gospel is paramount for the missional God and his everyday apostles. How do we, as a church between the city and the suburbs, reach into the city?

PERMEATE

LIVING SENT in the Suburb
presented by Pastor Bryan McWhite

What does a suburbanite apostle look like? How we "live sent" in our neighborhoods? God has scattered the people of New Hope Church throughout the suburbs. Where we live is no accident. We are all agents of the gospel where we live. We are each God's ambassador to our apartment building, our block, our neighborhood. So let's dream together about the first steps of walking boldly into our neighborhood as messengers of reconciliation.

REIMAGINE

LIVING SENT to the "9-5 Window"
presented by Pastor Bryan McWhite
Maybe you've heard of the "10/40 window"--the least-reached part of the globe. Perhaps the least reached part of the world we normally find ourselves in is the "9-5 window"--the place we spend about a third of our lives. The workplace. What if work isn't about work? What if it isn't about accomplishment and ambition and achievement and money? What if work, above anything else, is about mission? You may be the only person that has access to the people you work with. You are God's missionary into the 9-5 window.

PROJECT

LIVING SENT as Global Ambassadors
presented by Pastor Bryan McWhite
New Hope Church has a call not only to reach our own society, but to project the gospel and our resources around the globe. This is what God has put us on earth to do, but it is also the only way we'll ever be able to see our world transform from its current state of brokenness and abuse, torture and darkness, into the world that God is working toward: A world of beauty, peace and human flourishing.

INTRIGUE

LIVING SENT as a Counter Culture
presented by Pastor Bryan McWhite
Living as everyday apostles can only be effective if we truly develop a counter-culture. A "city within the city." Christians are meant to be outposts in time--new creations--foretastes of the New Heavens and New Earth, living right here in this world. How can we anticipate the coming Kingdom of God by exemplifying the Kingdom of God now?

ENGAGE

LIVING SENT to One
presented by Pastor Bryan McWhite
This is where the rubber meets the road. Nearly everyone experiences some fear about sharing their faith with others. But the truth is that none of our fears are truly rational. They are all illusory. And sharing our faith isn't nearly as intimidating as it sounds. In this closing message, we'll demystify evangelism, and talk about how everyone can engage in mission.
