Christian Worldview of the Arts
In today's culture, there is a broad perspective on the arts. Are you interested in developing a Christian worldview of the arts? We've compiled a list of resources that provide a good place to start the conversation. Our church doctrine may not line up perfectly with every perspective in all these materials. Keep in mind that they merely provide a springboard to stretch your understanding as you seek truth. Get into discussions about the materials with godly mentors and friends. Back up what you read with Scripture and listen to leaders who speak and live out biblical truth. Prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit's guidance and ask God to develop your view of the world and the arts.

Share Your Gifts

Thank you for your interest in sharing your gifts and talents with the church and community. We’re excited about seeing the body of Christ use what God has given them to reflect, represent and show who God is. We want to partner with you in extending invitations to know him more deeply while worshiping and giving him glory. Our hope is to match up people with service opportunities that do this most effectively, using everyone’s time and resources in the best ways possible. If you're gifted in the areas of writing, photography, film making, illustration, video or some other area of communications and you wish to share your gifts with the church family and community, contact NHC Communications to discuss the possibilities.

Creative Arts
If you're gifted in areas such as painting, drawing, illustration, ceramics, staging, display or some other area of creative arts and you wish to share your gifts with the church family and community, contact Lisa Bodkin to discuss the possibilities.

Photography

We welcome quality photos taken at NHC events or of our surrounding local community. Contact Communications to pass on your electronic photo files.

God Using Creative Arts at New Hope Church

God often speaks to people through his creative works. Consider the beauty of a vibrant sunset, the magnificence of a mountain, or the splendor of waterfalls and even the unique character of a desert landscape. His "paintbrush" has touched a thousand places on this earth and beyond. Sometimes that beauty leads us to worship. In the same way, we can help provoke God's people to worship when we let him work in us through creativity. See some ways God has displayed his creativity at New Hope Church:
