Worship Music & Celebration Arts Ministries features a variety of events throughout the year, including concerts, special music and conferences. We want to offer those in our church and community numerous ways to learn more about what it means to live a life of worship as well as provide plenty of opportunities to actively worship God. It is important for each of us to continually invite him to deepen our worship life. Watch for more information on upcoming worship events that help you to do that.

2011 Choir Retreat: Saturday, October 15-Sunday, October 16

Online registration>>

We're back at the Oak Ridge Hotel & Conference Center in Chaska for this year's retreat. Brochures are available at New Hope Church.

If you’ve been to this retreat in the past, you know it's an important, refreshing time of learning, connecting and worshiping. If you haven’t been there, or haven’t been in a while, I encourage you to prioritize your presence at the 2011 retreat. If retreat has always been a part of your life, keep it up! What a great habit! My thanks to Don Herweyer for pulling people and ideas together for a fabulous weekend.
- Pastor Jeff McCourt

2011 Retreat Theme: "I Will Give You Rest"
Retreat Chaplain: Chris Jones
Retreat Clinician: Cliff Duren

Food
If you were able to attend last year, you know  the food deserves it’s own paragraph! Think “someone in a chef’s hat cooking my omelette,” add “all-you-care-to-eat” and “should I have one of each of the 12 different world-class desserts?” and you’ll be close to imagining what we’ll enjoy together for meals.

Schedule
The retreat begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15 and ends at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16.

Important
Due to our commitment to Oak Ridge Center, registrations must be turned in before Thursday, September 15.

Worship Quote

"How in the world can we worship God in a way that is exciting and passionate and moving if we do not know anything about him? . . . How can the heart really respond to that which it does not know? . . . The more we understand the revelation God has given us about himself, the more we ought to be moved to worship & praise him in response." -R.C. Sproul
