2013 winter retreat resources

Our 2013 winter retreat "Unleashing the Power of Prayer" aimed to help us understand prayer and equip us to become people of prayer. We've compiled the notes and audio from the sessions and workshops along with the prayer stations. Check them all out here.

books

The life of the mind is something evangelical Christians tend to neglect in favor of ill-informed mysticism and watered-down, hollow spirituality. Good reading should bring about a strong mind for God, as well as an informed mysticism and truth-filled spirituality. If you want to fill your mind with powerful truth and God-entranced thoughts, try starting with book recommendations.

websites and blogs

Websites and blogs should be the dessert that comes only after you've taken in the "meat" of devoted Bible study and the "potatoes" of good books. But if you're looking for helpful and edifying online resources, here are some recommendations.

articles

Sometimes a good article can get to the heart of an issue faster and more penetratingly than a lengthier book. Check out this collection of helpful articles.

rich in generosity

Rich in Generosity is an on-going ministry campaign designed to equip and enable the people of New Hope church to “Live Sent.” We believe the Lord is leading us to remove a significant barrier to reaching our community for Christ through a special giving project to reduce our debt. This will open up new possibilities for ministry, service and outreach.

For your reference and convenience, the NHC website contains many links to external websites and files whose content may or may not necessarily reflect the beliefs or opinions of New Hope Church. Our effort is to include only content that helps lead individuals to God’s truth. To report links which may be inappropriate, thank you for notifying site support.
