God is at work through
the fusion community. Here are some of the stories He's been writing:
"I have had the opportunity to walk side by side with many of
God's children through the Fusion community. Fusion is a time to worship
the Lord whole-heartedly and surrender ourselves
to his will. It is an amazing community of believers who share,
laugh, cry and worship together and we have witnessed many awesome
miracles as a result of this. I am continuously encouraged by strong
brothers and sisters of the Lord week by week, it is so neat to see others
grow more spiritually sound with our Lord Jesus Christ. Having a strong
foundation upon Christ through Fusion has lead me to be more influential
in my family, friends and co-workers lives." --Kassie

"I've been going to fusion for over a year and have seen what I would call an 'internal explosion.' From the first time I went until even this past week, I've been taught truths from the Word that continue to be formative. I call it an internal explosion because there are no sugar-coated messages at Fusion. Truth is brought every week whether I want to hear it or not. God works through the Spirit and the truth of his Word to cause sin to be destroyed in my life and as a result He helps me to grow. My warning is this: Don't come to Fusion if you don't want to grow. To provide perspective of what I mean by internal explosion, I will give a (really weird) analogy:
Where I grew up there was a stream and every year the beavers would dam up the stream. On the other side of the stream was an area that needed water for vegetation to grow. The local DNR would come out every year and use explosives to destroy the dam so it could keep the areas that needed water growing. Fusion in many ways is like the local DNR. The preaching and the worship are the explosive devices that blow up the dam (my hard heart and indwelling sin) on a weekly basis. The flowing water is the Lord Jesus Christ: "Whoever drinks of this water that I will give him will never be thirsty forever. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (Jn 4:14). That water is good, but to really quench the thirst and grow fruit, sometimes we need the local DNR (Fusion) to step in and blow up what is holding the water back to give us a full taste of how good "this water that I will give him" really is. --Kerby Skurat
